生活就是修行。

It's only my 3rd day at work. I feel like leaving a note about the new job despite that fact that I am really tired and my brain cannot function properly after work.

Anyways, here it is~

Culture Shock:

My colleagues are much nicer with new joiners than my ex-colleagues. Also the pace is much slower. I have to control myself becoming anxious while seeing lesser emails coming in. Well, in my prior job, emails really did FLOOD in.

My current employer cares about work and life balance, my ex employer doesn't care if anyone in your family has passed away, as long as it is not you, and work has to be done regardless. The only thing they can think of is WORK WORK WORK, and more WORK.

Club events:

There are pinball, bowling, single's party, parents' day, golf club, yoga club -- anything you can think of. On the other hand, my ex employer can only brag on the one and only family day.

Frankly I don't have much to do so far but am trying hard to be hands on asap. There is a lot of readings and system access applications. And I expect to keep reading for the next few days.

Time for Bed.
